Atlantic Immigration Pilot Program

The Atlantic Immigration Pilot helps you hire qualified candidates for jobs you haven’t been able to fill locally. These candidates can be overseas or living in Canada temporarily. The economy of Atlantic Canada is expanding, and there simply aren’t enough qualified and skilled people to meet the labour demands of the region. This is why the provinces grouped together to create a pathway to permanent residency for foreigners who want to permanently settle and live in Atlantic Canada. The participating provinces are;

• Nova Scotia,
• New Brunswick,
• Newfoundland & Labrador and
• Prince Edward Island.

The pilot is scheduled and we suggest you move quickly to seize your opportunity of securing permanent residency in Canada. Foreign workers in almost every occupation are eligible to become permanent residents under the AIP. Atlantic Canada needs everyone; butchers, cooks, truck drivers, accountants, nurses, doctors, food and beverage servers, home care workers, plumbers and fishermen.

There are 3 programs to hire someone:

• Atlantic International Graduate Program
• Atlantic High-skilled Program
• Atlantic Intermediate-skilled Program

Each program has requirements that the candidate must meet to make the job offer, will work through several steps. If the candidate meets all the requirements, the gets permanent resident status in Canada.
